A Little ‘Extra’ Work For The Goddess
Hey guys! There’s been a lot going on with me lately and I want to clue you in on the developments. Many of you know me as Queenie but my real name is Te-Erika. I own and manage Conquer Him (With Love) as well as the sister sites and this is my full-time career. How lucky I am to be able to do this after being a blogger since 2003.
Pro blogging became my full-time business in 2013 and then I expanded my offerings by creating two more blogs including Conquer Him in 2014. I was on a roll, creating coaching programs, writing for different websites and enjoying my freedom as a blogger while satisfying my audiences and making a difference in the lives of women.
For 3 years things were growing steadily, my classes were booming, I added an online store and a private social community and I thought life couldn’t be better! Then out of the blue, everything stopped. My income as a freelance writer stopped, I didn’t get any students for my coaching programs and over a month’s time it looked like I was going to be behind in my bills. Instead of going to social services or looking for a Sugar Daddy I got up and went down to the background casting agency and re registered to work as a background actor. This one decision changed my life.
I absolutely LOVE being a background actress in Los Angeles! I get to act as a temp worker and appear as an extra on all types of TV shows and films while getting paid to do it!
Te-Erika as an OR nurse on Grey’s Anatomy.
Te-Erika as an employee on Bones.
Te-Erika as a crowd member on a feature film.
Playing a lawyer type on How to Get Away With Murder.
I was a restaurant patron on a commercial for a popular dating website, a parent attending a children’s party on a sitcom and a marijuana advocate on another sitcom too!
I haven’t stopped working because I love it so much. I am addicted to the new lifestyle, traveling from neighborhood to neighborhood and helping to make the TV shows and films. I can not believe that a loss in income led to me discovering a new love, one that may lead to me being better positioned to expose the beauty of Female Led Relationships! Everything happens for a reason. Smart women know how to bounce back from any loss!
